Risk & Compliance Officer - Real Estate Developer

Risk and Compliance Officer
to strengthen their governance framework and ensure compliance with UAE and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Identification & Assessment

  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, regulatory, and market risks across all departments.
  • Maintain and update the corporate risk register.

Risk Governance & Strategy

  • Implement enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks aligned with ISO 31000 standards.
  • Support board-level governance and risk oversight.

Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) regulations, Dubai Land Department (DLD), and RERA requirements.
  • Oversee adherence to ISO compliance standards (ISO 31000, ISO 9001).
  • Monitor ongoing compliance across business units and projects.

Market Risk Monitoring

  • Conduct market risk analysis, scenario planning, and stress testing.
  • Provide insights on real estate market trends and regulatory impacts.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare risk and compliance reports for senior management and the board.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or Risk Management (Master's preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as
    CCEP, CRM, GRCP, ICA, ISO Lead Auditor
    are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in risk and compliance, preferably within real estate or publicly listed companies.
  • Strong knowledge of
    SCA regulatory frameworks, ISO compliance, and enterprise risk governance
    .
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
