As the Manager OperationalPlanning & Readiness dnata Airport Operations youwill be responsible for the provision of expertise in planningdeveloping and scheduling of all operational readiness activitiesassociated with new airport and airfield design with a specificfocus on Al Maktoum International Airport (AMIA). This is a 3 yearfixed term contract.

Youwill lead cross functional work streams and represent dnata in keyforums to jointly develop conceptualise and model dnatas operatingstrategy and ensure that the master plan and subsequent developmentwork at AMIA incorporates the future requirements for dnata UAEAirport Operations and dnata UAE Cargo Operations businessdivisions.

In thisrole you will:

  • Representand advocate on behalf of dnata in all stakeholder meetings orplanning workshops.
  • Lead in the development andvalidation of dnata planning specifications and requirementsdocuments.
  • Prepare and submit formal dnatarequirements into the master plan for construction airfield designand operational needs.
  • Collaborate with thebusiness heads and other SMEs to develop and validate scenarios andsuitable operating model options aligned with the new airportdesign concepts.
  • Build and maintain strongrelationships with all stakeholders promoting and safeguarding theinterests of both the dnata UAE Airport Operations and dnata UAECargo Operations business divisions.
  • Beaccountable for establishing the overall programme management ofdnata UAE future facilities development.
  • Workclosely with the respective innovation and ground equipment teamsto provide insight into the emerging airport design and overlay theimpact of incoming technologies and equipment into theforwardlooking operating model.

Qualifications& Experience: To be considered for the role you must meetthe below requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and 10years of relevant experience in Operational Readiness Activationand Transition (ORAT) including proven experience in airfield andairport design.
  • Considerable leadershipexperience (including virtual teams) and experience in roles withindirect influence and senior stakeholdermanagement.
  • Demonstrated experience managinglarge projects with accountability for strategic planning budgetingand delivery.
  • Preferred experience in theGround handling industry; preferred experience in the MiddleEast.

Youllhave an edge if you have:

  • Advanced level negotiationskills.
  • Strong technical skills in airportplanning aviation operations operational and technologytesting.
  • Advanced knowledge of InternationalAir Transport Association regulation and Quality ManagementSystems.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skillsincluding demonstrable skill communicating with sensitivity andimpact in multicultural environments.
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills with powerful ability topersuade and influence people internally and externally at alllevels.
