- Leadthe Business Development Team and Customer Relationship Managementteam fostering a teambased culture ensuring positive interactionswith other teams within the dnata Travel Groupdivision
- As a member of the dnata Travelmanagement team champion a culture of open communication cleardirection accountability collaboration and performance managementto deliver against the one dnata vision mission andvalues
- Set and monitor performance objectivesand development plans for direct reports which are aligned with thedepartment strategic plan; identify improvement areas requiringformal intervention and training both on an individual anddepartment basis
- Be accountable for businessdevelopment activities related to the assigned brand to ensure theprovision of specialised and professional services are positionedand the sale for the same is closed to deliver profitable revenuestreams for the Company
- Evaluate and recommendways for clients to manage their travel spend and assist with theintroduction of the necessary Government Travel Policies technologysolutions and key supplier partnerships all leading to bettermanagement of their corporate travel spend and more costsavings
- Manage and contribute to the overallannual budget for dnata Travel management with respect to salesmanpower and overall costs. Responsible for consolidation ofgovernment travel accounts
- Achieve revenuetargets and profitability effectively managing the budgeting andutilisation of overhead expenses and manpower resources. Manage andmonitor the analysis of business transacted and reporting functionsto ensure results are effectively tracked and proactive action istaken to respond to varying marketrequirements
- Represent dnata Travel managementat various government conferences and work with dnata Travelregional partners to consult and guide them to win governmentaccounts in their markets
- Identify new businessopportunities and ensure the successful achievement of the overallbusiness objectives relating to sales client management newproducts marketing objectives and promote the image of the dnataTravelbrand
Qualifications& Experience: To be considered for the role you must meetthe below requirements
- Be aUAE National citizen
- Bachelorsdegree and 10 years experience in a Sales or Business Developmentrole in the travel sector (ideally Corporate) ) including a minimumof 5 years experience managing and leading salesteams
- Experience working with/in the MiddleEast region
- Deep knowledge of the governmentand corporate travel sector including consumer behaviour competitoractivity and a broad network of travel industrycontacts
- Advanced applied knowledge of CRMtools
- Systematic and logical approach tosolving problems
- Excellent written and oralcommunication skills in English and Arabic (additional languageswill be a distinct advantage)
- Advancednegotiation skills and demonstrable ability to influence seniorlevel stakeholders internal and external to theorganisation
