Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze BOQs, budgets, specifications, and drawings for new awarded tenders to produce a comprehensive procurement list.
  • Develop and maintain a controlled framework to ensure that all procurement activities are effectively managed and aligned with our business objectives.
  • Develop and review procurement strategies covering each of the key business areas, ensuring maximum value for money benefits are achieved.
  • Implement SAP applications and ensure no procurement backlogs, streamlining our procurement processes for efficiency.
  • Establish a process of review for all contracts, supplies, and suppliers, ensuring maximum value for money benefits are achieved through supplier rationalization and developing an approved supplier list.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure best value for money and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and address areas of concern as early as possible, taking remedial action to prevent issues from arising.
  • Monitor trends in supplier and contract base, proposing and implementing plans to respond to such trends.
  • Develop and maintain a database of products and suppliers within the relevant industry, ensuring our procurement processes are informed and effective.
  • Regularly follow up with internal and external teams for all purchases, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain an inventory (stock) level for the company, ensuring accurate tracking and management of our stock levels.
