The primary objective is to facilitate a seamless production process, ensuring everything runs efficiently and without issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up the production area with lighting, props, and necessary equipment.
  • Support costume designers, directors, cinematographers, and other crew members.
  • Prepare and distribute daily production documents such as scripts and call sheets.
  • Guide actors around the filming location and manage background talent.
  • Implement crowd management strategies by placing signage and directing foot traffic away from the filming zone.
  • Serve as a messenger, delivering communications and items within the production team.
  • Perform clerical tasks including answering phones and managing paperwork.
  • Carry out various errands as directed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a production assistant or a strong enthusiasm for the film industry.
  • Familiarity with industry terminology is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Resourceful with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Physical endurance and strength.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • High school diploma; relevant training such as production courses is advantageous.
