Our Sales and Business Development team is responsible for:

  1. Business Growth**: Identify and pursue new sales leads in sea freight, building a strong sales pipeline and expanding our customer base.
  2. Negotiations**: Connect shipowners and ship charters to represent the company's interests in negotiations and transactions. Build connections and a strong network in the maritime sector with new clients, ship owners, and ship charters.
  3. Sales Expansion**: Bring new clients and projects to increase company sales.
  4. Contract Facilitation**: Help facilitate the agreement between the two parties by negotiating terms and arranging contracts. Work to secure the best possible deals on behalf of clients.
  5. Market Analysis**: Analyze the market, find suitable vessels, and ensure smooth transactions. Provide clients with insights and recommendations for their shipping needs.
  6. Documentation Management**: Review legal documents related to charter parties and sale and purchase agreements, assist with drafting contracts, and handle documentation.
  7. Vessel Sourcing**: Secure vessels for the transportation of cargo or business. Ensure that the ship is in good condition, properly equipped, and manned by a competent crew.
  8. Client Support**: Maintain assigned accounts and provide ongoing customer support.
  9. Sales Strategy Development**: Develop and implement sales strategies around the provision of logistical services.
  10. Prospecting**: Identify and contact prospective customers to promote logistical services and negotiate contracts.
  11. Risk Assessment**: Evaluate business processes, assess risks, and recommend improvements to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Qualification**: Minimum bachelor's degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • Industry Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of sea freight logistics, shipping regulations, and the global cargo market.
