Chartering Sales Executive

Job Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales leads in sea freight, building a strong sales pipeline and expanding our customer base.
- Making Connections: Connect shipowners and ship charters to represent the company's interests in negotiations and transactions. Build connections and a strong network in the maritime sector with new clients, ship owners, and ship charters.
- Boosting Sales: Bring new clients and projects to increase company sales.
- Facilitating Contracts: Help facilitate the agreement between the two parties by negotiating terms and arranging contracts. Work to secure the best possible deals on behalf of clients.
- Market Analysis: Analyze the market, find suitable vessels, and ensure smooth transactions. Provide clients with insights and recommendations for their shipping needs.
- Documentation: Review legal documents related to charter parties and sale and purchase agreements, assist with drafting contracts, and handle documentation.
- Vessel Securing: Secure vessels for the transportation of cargo or business. Ensure that the ship is in good condition, properly equipped, and manned by a competent crew.
- Maintain assigned accounts and provide ongoing customer support.
- Develop and implement sales strategies around the provision of logistical services.
- Identify and contact prospective customers to promote logistical services and negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate business processes, assess risks, and recommend improvements to achieve sales targets.
Qualification & Skills:
Qualification: Minimum bachelor's degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a relevant field.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of sea freight logistics, shipping regulations, and the global cargo market.
