About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our OEM alliances and partnerships efforts at Canonical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with our partners, driving business growth, and ensuring the success of our joint initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our OEM partners, including IBM, Samsung, Dell EMC, HPE, Nokia, and others.
  • Business Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow our business with our OEM partners, including negotiating contracts and commercial terms.
  • Partnership Management: Lead and manage our partnerships with OEMs, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and strategies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, sales engineering, and product management teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration with our OEM partners.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and report on the performance of our OEM partnerships, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, with a strong track record of driving business growth and success.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem, as well as experience with Linux, virtualization, containers, and other cloud technologies.
  • Personal Qualities: Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on, and results-driven, with a passion for Ubuntu products and mission.
