About the Role

Bloomberg is seeking an experienced Business Director to join our Middle East and Africa team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing a territory and building strategic partnerships with governments, high-level government stakeholders, and tier one corporate entities across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Create and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the Middle East and Africa region.
  2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  3. Drive Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with our editorial, sales, and marketing teams to develop and execute integrated programs that meet client objectives.
Requirements
  1. 10+ Years of Ad Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in ad sales, with a strong understanding of the media industry and its trends.
  2. Strategic Sales Approach: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, utilizing proprietary data sets to drive revenue growth.
  3. Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Self-Motivated and Results-Oriented: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving revenue growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Existing Knowledge of the Middle East and Africa Markets: Strong understanding of the Middle East and Africa markets, including key clients and stakeholders.
