About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Monitoring and Control Manager to join our team at دار التمويل والإستثمار المالية. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent activities related to card transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Fraud Prevention Strategies: Design and implement effective strategies to detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent activities related to card transactions, leveraging data analytics and other technologies to stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics.
  • Lead a Team of Fraud Analysts and Investigators: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to a team of fraud analysts and investigators to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee Fraud Prevention Measures: Oversee the development and implementation of fraud prevention measures, including monitoring systems, rules-based controls, and manual review processes to minimize fraudulent activities and losses.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and other industry standards related to card transactions and fraud prevention.
  • Identify and Assess Risks: Identify and assess potential risks associated with card transactions and fraud, and develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as IT, legal, operations, and customer service, to ensure a coordinated approach to fraud prevention and response.
  • Prepare Regular Reports: Prepare regular reports on fraud trends, patterns, and the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures, and use data analysis to continuously improve fraud prevention strategies.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors that provide fraud prevention tools and services, ensuring that they are meeting performance expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Develop Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees about fraud risks and prevention strategies.
  • Monitor and Enhance Alerts: On a quarterly basis, ensure revision of all types of alerts and enhance the rules by reducing false positives with coordination with the control and risk departments.
  • Report High-Risk Cases: Responsibility for reporting any high-risk cases and trends as per the implemented procedure.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Trends: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in fraud prevention and card security, and evaluate and implement new tools and techniques as appropriate.
  • Protect Customers: Work to protect customers from fraudulent activities, ensuring that their sensitive information and financial assets are safeguarded.
  • Maintain a Strong Team Environment: Maintain a strong teamwork environment within and outside the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance is preferred. An MBA is desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum 8 Years' Experience in Fraud and Internal Control Functions: Minimum 8 years' experience in fraud and internal control functions in the Banking/Financial Services industry.
  • Vendor and Customer Management: Experience in vendor and customer management.
  • Incident and Problem Resolution Management Skills: Incident and problem resolution management skills.
  • Up-to-Date on Latest Technology Trends and Platforms: Up to date on latest technology trends and platforms.
