About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Risk Management Specialist to join our team at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. As a key member of our Operational Risk Management department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our fraud risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fraud Risk Assessment
    • Develop and communicate an enterprise-wide fraud risk management strategy, aligned with our business objectives.
    • Identify, analyze, and assess fraud risk through workshops, questionnaires, process reviews, and other assessment tools.
    • Implement cost-effective fraud risk response plans and recommend process enhancements to mitigate fraud risk.
  • Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and circulate fraud risk assessment reports to business unit heads, highlighting key findings.
    • Log action plans in our GRC system to monitor the implementation of recommendations.
    • Monitor and review fraud risk indicators and control effectiveness.
  • Training and Awareness
    • Provide training and guidance across the bank to create awareness about our fraud risk assessment framework.
    • Assist in developing continuous lessons learned and sharing best fraud control practices.
  • General Management
    • Participate in business meetings, forums, and committees to identify opportunities to improve anti-fraud controls.
    • Assess emerging fraud risks, including those related to new products or significant process changes.
Requirements
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and gain confidence of senior management.
  • Expert knowledge of GRC systems and operational risk management practices.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with 5 years specifically in fraud risk management or operational risk management.
  • Professional qualifications, such as ACFE or CORP.
