Job Title: Strategic Business Development Specialist

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional to join Alpin Limited as a Strategic Business Development Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and driving business growth.

  • We are seeking an experienced sales and marketing professional with a strong business acumen who can develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients and expand our existing customer base.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire potential clients and manage client relationships;
  • Source opportunities and leads, and research potential clients that would fit our overall business strategy;
  • Report progress on project acquisition targets to the management team consistently;
  • Travel frequently across the region and outside to attend new business development meetings;
  • Active participation in events and conferences;
  • Support our advertising and marketing strategy, in particular in the UAE and KSA;
  • Work closely with the Operations Team to establish and manage client networks effectively;
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs;
  • Review and respond to RFPs and develop corresponding quotes and proposals;
  • Follow up on proposals and negotiate to close out agreements;
  • Document sales progress and forecast;
  • Support the team for official external prequalification (PQ) registrations and keep the registration list updated;
  • Assist the bidding team with proposal development;
  • Support the team with all contract extension requests and coordinate with respective consultants for follow up;

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering required, a secondary degree in business is a plus;
  • Experience in sales, marketing, engineering, and/or environmental sciences;
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills;
  • Ability to build and manage relationships successfully;
  • Construction and/or green building industry experience is a plus;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Good communication skills both in English and Arabic, both in writing and speaking;
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to self-motivate and drive forward business;
  • At least 1 to 2 years' experience, preferably with working with contractors;
  • UAE driving license & personal mode of transportation is required;
  • A pleasant attitude - happy to join a close-knit, entrepreneurial technical team;
  • Common sense and ability to manage situations and think critically;
  • Trust, discretion, and confidentiality are of the highest importance;
  • Very organized, well-presented, and with business development skills;
  • Very high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign experience is a plus;
  • IT savvy; strong computer skills (SaaS, Software installation and hardware);
  • Must have good attention-to-detail skills;
  • Excellent phone and interactive skills;
  • Self-starter who needs minimal supervision and does not mind managing their own work;
