The Culture and People Development Manager at Duncan & Ross will be tasked with formulating and executing strategies that resonate with the organization’s mission and values.
This role encompasses the management of all facets of People & Culture (P&C), both operationally and strategically, to facilitate the achievement of corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with leadership to comprehend strategic aims and synchronize P&C initiatives with business objectives.
- Oversee the annual budgeting for costs and expenditures related to People & Culture within the organization.
- Administer all elements of employee relations, engagement, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure that all Global Human Resources Policies and Procedures are consistently updated across all platforms.
- Implement and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for the organization.
- Design and execute performance management systems, including evaluations, goal-setting, and improvement plans. Provide coaching to managers on effective performance management strategies and assist in resolving performance challenges.
- Serve as a consultant to department leaders, offering insights on P&C-related issues and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Guarantee adherence to local labor laws and regulations, modifying P&C policies and practices as necessary.
- Drive ongoing transformation in the P&C operational model, identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline P&C policies, processes, and tools in line with ISO standards.
- Support the senior leadership team in cultivating an empowering workplace through the development of compensation structures, learning and development programs, and job design.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a performance-driven culture that aligns with organizational needs and performance evaluations.
- Conduct internal and external organizational reporting, maintaining P&C data and statistics, and providing regular analyses to leadership to promote continuous improvement.
- Design and lead initiatives and projects, including research and diagnostics, to maximize team member engagement and retention while fostering organizational commitment to the desired culture.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- HR Certification (SHRM Certified Professional/CIPD or equivalent) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to align HR initiatives with overarching business goals.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in People and Culture management, preferably within the consulting sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong understanding of various HR functions or related fields.
- Familiarity with labor legislation in at least one GCC country (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, KSA, Kuwait, Oman).
