About the Role

Silk Route Recruitment is seeking an experienced Women's Fashion Buyer to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing the women's wear category, including wovens, knits, and dresses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies for the women's wear category, aligned with European trends and customer profiles.
  • Drive commercial performance through cost reduction, margin improvement, and lead time optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure excellent execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, marketing, visuals, sourcing, and quality, to ensure the right product reaches the right place at the right time and price.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and events, traveling across Asia, Europe, Korea, and America to source the best products.
  • Lead and motivate junior team members.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a buyer in the women's wear category from a commercial high street background.
  • Excellent eye for products and trends.
  • Commercial acumen and numbers-driven approach.
  • Willingness to relocate to Dubai and commit to a few years.
