Job Summary

Nexus Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Medical Insurance Executive to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by ensuring the quote-bind-issuance process is completed within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Service and Support

Provide quality service to clients by ensuring the quote-bind-issuance process is within agreed timeframes. Support consultants and producers in their efforts to attract and retain clients by providing competitive quotes.

Quote and Proposal Preparation

Prepare quotes and proposals, and bind coverage for clients. Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

Process Management

Ensure that the quote to issuance process is within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Maintain a tracker for missed SLAs and take corrective action to prevent delays.

Endorsement and Account Management

Manage the endorsement process from start to finish, including updating coverages, reviewing exposures, and discussing opportunities for account management.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure adherence to underwriting, compliance, and department guidelines in line with the company's standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Error Reporting and Record Keeping

Report errors and maintain accurate records in the Nexus Insurance system, as per business process requirements.

Requirements
  1. Experience and Knowledge

Minimum 2 years of experience in individual medical insurance, with a strong understanding of portals, underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with Arabic being an advantage. Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly to clients and underwriters.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability

Proactive and passionate about providing exceptional service to clients. Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload, while supporting the team as needed.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
