Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general insurance matters, including procurement and contracts, to ensure effective and efficient processing.
  • Draft and review contracts and agreements to support business operations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless processing of tenders and insurance-related matters.
  • Review and maintain all insurance documents provided by contractors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain cost-effective insurance programs to minimize risks and maximize benefits.
  • Provide information to management on insurance requirements to inform decision-making and implementation.
  • Obtain quotations from the insurance market to support business commercialization prospects.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in insurance and contracts-related work.
  • Knowledge of various lines of insurance, including aviation, property, workers' compensation, motor vehicles, and more.
  • Strong risk management skills to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Attention to detail, standards, and timeliness in activities and tasks.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in a timely manner within general operating guidelines.
  • Knowledge of insurance market trends and pricing.
  • Experience in aviation insurance is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or an equivalent degree from an accredited University.
  • Professional qualification in insurance.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
