About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to lead our Internal & External Communications agenda for our Specialized Nutrition Business in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a tailored communications strategy to keep employees informed of Danone's business priorities in a clear and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership teams to develop creative communication plans and announcements.
  • Conceptualize and implement internal communications plans that inspire employee ambassadorship and strong employer branding.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to report business performance, key events, and launches.
  • Liaise with media, key stakeholders, and government authorities to build company reputation and shape stories.
  • Manage projects against defined project plans, including Danone Way annual sustainability assessment and B Corp certification.

Requirements:

  • 35 years of experience in a Communications role.
  • Prior experience in people management is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, or a similar degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Digital/social media planning and activation skills.
  • Excellent project management and event coordination skills.
  • Strong ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organization.
  • Creative strategic vision and collaborative mindset.
  • Experienced in crisis communications and management.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills.
  • Photoshop, InDesign, Canva (basic knowledge advantageous).

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
