Job Description

**Job Title:** Auditor - Customs Clearance Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor - Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at Dubai Customs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of customs clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize relevant information by obtaining it from information sources to assist in preparing a single audit plan.
  • Plan, approve, or specialize audits as requested by the group head.
  • Send requests for resource experts to the relevant expert department after obtaining approval from the group head and obtaining the opinion and approval of experts.
  • Prepare draft reports containing all evidence and audit results based on the results of auditing transactions to be presented to superiors.
  • Determine processes and controls for clients based on the flow and information collection system to prepare a CAPE measurement system.
  • Design a series of tests to determine whether the control process is properly implemented in the company's accurate records and reflects reality.
  • Conduct initial compliance tests to ensure that transactions are audited in accordance with document control procedures within the system under offer and to determine the extent of need for technical testing.
  • Collect the amount required for technical examination of samples based on a measurement system.
  • Prepare and conduct technical audit tests based on high and medium results of a measurement system.
  • Create patterns and request forms for customs declarations and collect documents to perform auditing of transactions from customers and the Internet.
  • Carry out desk audits at the customs office or client's headquarters by examining identified transactions and collecting papers supporting their compliance.
  • Prepare a transaction audit report based on the audit of the group's transactions and collecting all evidence and audit results for presentation by the head.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of customs clearance processes and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
