  2. Customs Declaration Management: Process customs declarations via the Dubai Trade portal, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  3. Communication and Follow-up: Establish and maintain effective communication with Dubai Customs for follow-up and queries related to customs clearance.
  4. Document Review and Verification: Review commercial invoices, packing lists, BL's/AWB's for any inaccuracies, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  5. Gate Pass Management: Process gate passes (In/Out) for smooth customs clearance operations.
  6. Regulatory Compliance and Certifications: Process FIRS, Health Certificate & CPIP on Dubai Municipality Portals, and apply Certificate of Origin & Arab league COOs via Dubai Chamber & Ministry of Economy Portals.
  7. Duty Exemptions and Regulatory Requirements: Apply duty exemptions for required industrial consignees and ensure compliance with SIRA, MOFA, and other regulatory requirements based on products.
  8. Exit Entry Certificates and Refunds: Monitor exit entry certificates to ensure timely submission before expiry and submit deposits for refunds through the Dubai Trade Portal.
  9. Document Management and Filing: Ensure good filing and safe-keeping process of customs documents in line with local regulations.
  10. Tariff Updates: Update tariff according to customs rate and fee changes, if any.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, specifically in customs operations.
  2. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a result-driven approach.
  4. Good English communication skills and knowledge of customs procedures.
  5. Strong relationships with Dubai Customs and government authorities.
  6. UAE driving license.
