About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Supervisor to join our team in the UAE. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supervising our finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with finance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and deliver robust Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (B/S) statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Conduct detailed variance analysis and present findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • General Ledger Oversight
    • Oversee the management of the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
    • Monitor and reconcile accounts, including inventory, warranty reserves, and service revenues, to identify discrepancies.
    • Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and adjustments.
    • Reconcile intercompany accounts and balances on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence
    • Ensure compliance with finance policies, procedures, and best practices specific to the automotive industry and NIO Group.
    • Oversee the accounting process and ensure adherence to US GAAP standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Participate in budget planning and re-forecasting processes during quarterly financial reviews.
  • Statutory Compliance
    • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure adherence to all auditing requirements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Act as a mentor and coach for junior finance team members.
    • Provide guidance and support during monthly book closings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is preferred.
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Manufacturing or trading company experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in using SAP is a must.
  • Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Corporate finance acumen to enhance balance sheet and P&L management.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Flexible and able to manage tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
