Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to our suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Invoice Verification: Verify that all invoices meet the necessary requirements, including approved purchase orders, delivery orders, and goods received notes.
  2. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and USALI standards.
  3. Cash and Petty Expenses: Process cash and petty expenses, ensuring necessary approvals and adherence to internal procedures.
  4. Payment Processing: Prepare and submit vendor payments in a timely manner, ensuring critical dates, credit terms, and priorities are met.
  5. Accruals and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of accruals, payments, and supporting documents for future reference.
  6. Inventory Management: Assist the cost controller in maintaining accurate inventory levels and conducting physical inventory counts.
  7. Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform various ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Cost Controller or Payable Supervisor.
Requirements
  1. Education: An acceptable degree from a recognized university with a specialization in commerce or accounting.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in hospitality software, such as Sun System, Material Control, and MS Office Applications.
  3. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field, with knowledge of cost clerk profiles.
  4. Personal Qualities: Self-reliant, able to handle work pressure, and possess excellent communication skills.
