About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Recruitment Professional to join our team at American University of Ras Al Khaimah. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in promoting our university's brand and attracting top talent from around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies
    • Design and execute comprehensive recruitment plans to meet student enrollment targets.
    • Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including high school counselors, community leaders, and industry partners.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships
    • Foster strong relationships with current and prospective students, parents, and educational institutions.
    • Develop and maintain a network of contacts in the education sector.
  • Market the University
    • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the university's brand and programs.
    • Collaborate with the communications team to develop marketing materials, including brochures, videos, and social media content.
  • Manage CRM and Data
    • Manage the university's CRM system to track student interactions and enrollment data.
    • Develop and maintain reports to analyze recruitment trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and Collaborate
    • Lead a team of recruitment staff to achieve enrollment targets.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, student affairs, and academic programs.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in university student recruitment and marketing or a combination of experiences in similar recruitment settings.
    • A minimum of 2 years of university experience recruiting/matriculating national, regional, and international students and sound knowledge of higher education and admissions.
  • Skills
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (verbal and written) in both small-group and large-group settings.
    • Motivated, goal-oriented, and proven ability to meet student recruitment targets.
    • Experience with CRM platforms.
    • Excellent project management skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse and multiple groups in a positive manner.
    • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope with high-volume workloads.
    • Proficient in MS Office/systems (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Proficient in electronic marketing and IT skills.
    • High energy and passion for recruiting.
    • Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent decisions and lead others.
    • Creativity, self-confidence, and flexibility.
    • Ability to understand, adapt, and articulate AURAK's culture to an external audience.
    • Willingness to travel as needed for marketing and recruitment activities.
