About the Role

Caliberly is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project construction strategies, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Client Representative and Project Manager.
  • Site Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including site operations, personnel, materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the construction process and develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with project teams and external stakeholders to address construction-related issues and changes.
  • Conflict Resolution: Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Administrative Functions
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of construction progress, quality inspections, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports on construction activities for project updates and decision-making.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
  • Handover: Coordinate the handover of as-built documentation.
Competencies
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and listening communication skills to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality and efficiency.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliver results.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience: 10 years of site experience in high-rise building construction, residential/luxury villas, or hotels.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, building code requirements, and scheduling methods.
  • Skills: Familiarity with construction management software and tools, and knowledge of construction worksite safety practices.
