Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate on-site civil engineering activities, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities installation, to ensure compliance with project requirements and schedules.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Technical Expertise: Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation, ensuring alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical challenges, mitigate risks, and optimize construction processes.
  • Documentation: Prepare progress reports, daily logs, and other project documentation to track site activities, expenses, and resource utilization.
  • Communication: Interface with the Client, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and maintain positive relationships.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in civil engineering, with specific experience in Oil & Gas or Infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction techniques.
  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, including API, ASCE, and ASTM.
  • Project Management Tools: Knowledge of project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is considered a plus.
  • Engineering Design Software: Experience with AutoCAD or other engineering design software is desirable.
  • Language: Fluent level of written and spoken English.
