Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction activities and field personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures.
  • Monitor daily construction details and progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Implement and maintain good construction safety practices, promoting a culture of safety among on-site personnel.
  • Participate in regular HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and daily jobsite walks, maintaining accurate records of these activities.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts on construction progress, job manpower forecasts, and other relevant metrics.
  • Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project objectives for safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and cost.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent or Senior Construction Engineer to resolve subcontractor issues and ensure successful project execution.
  • Implement construction work processes, project procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
  • Ensure the controlled, preserved, and issued material handed over to subcontractors is used for the intended purpose.
  • Address on-site problems related to building construction activities with the assistance of a supervisor.
  • Follow up with subcontractors to close punch items on time.
  • Provide inputs on lessons, constructability issues, best practices in construction Observation Form.
  • Maintain a realistic and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Continuously learn about different types of equipment on the job with various stages of work coverage.
  • Assist Engineer/Senior Engineer in daily tasks to gain knowledge on construction methods.
  • Perform independent tasks with exposure to subcontractor management, procedure development, and site activity progress monitoring.
  • Highlight and solve day-to-day issues in assigned work areas.
  • Generate ITR/Check sheets for construction.
  • Ensure modifications or changes done on-site are issued for as-built updates.Essential Qualifications and Skills

    Degree: Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to read AFC civil and structural drawings
    • Ability to read structural fabrication drawings
