Job Summary

As a highly skilled Sous Chef with Novotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to join our culinary team and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Chef de Cuisine in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to establish and maintain culinary standards, ensuring consistency across all outlets.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of kitchen policies, procedures, and protocols.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5-6 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading kitchen teams and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
