Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bellman to join our team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. As a Bellman, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Services: Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  2. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is used only as intended and maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use.
  3. Anticipate Guest Needs: Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  4. Positive Guest Relations: Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  5. Hotel Services: Be familiar with all hotel services and features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  6. Guest Complaint Resolution: Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  7. Work Area Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  8. Guest Arrival and Departure: Welcome guests on arrival, assist with luggage, and escort them to their room.
  9. Lost Luggage: Assist in locating guest's lost luggage.
  10. Room Delivery: Deliver items to guest rooms promptly, including messages, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, and sundry items requested by guests.
  11. Fire Safety: Identify and explain safety features of assigned room and fire exit closest to guest's room.
  12. Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Prior hospitality experience, preferably in a similar position.
  2. Education: High school diploma.
  3. General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  4. Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of all hotel services and amenities; ability to provide clear directions.
  5. Language: Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
