As a key member of the Siemens team, the Sustainability Expert will play a crucial role in developing and implementing global Sustainability in the Supply Chain strategy and respective methodologies. This includes monitoring their effectiveness and advising accountable management on sustainability aspects, with respect to relevant ratings, and on measures and programs to continuously improve the situation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategy: Researches, analyzes, and evaluates sustainability-related data to create reports for all stakeholders using state-of-the-art methodologies and digital tools.
  • Advise Management: Provides expert advice to accountable management on sustainability aspects, including relevant ratings and measures to improve the situation.
  • Reduce Carbon Footprint: Derives target-oriented measures to reduce the carbon footprint of the LDA supply chain.

This role requires a strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide expert advice to management on sustainability-related matters.
