Sales Engineer

Careers International is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and client relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Needs Assessment:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their specific needs related to facilities management services.
- Conduct site visits to assess the current state of the clients facilities and identify areas where our services can add value.
- Solution Development:
- Develop customized facilities management solutions that meet the clients needs, leveraging the full range of services offered by Careers International.
- Work with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and align with the company's capabilities.
- Prepare detailed proposals, including scope of work, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Technical Presentations:
- Deliver technical presentations to clients, clearly explaining the benefits of our proposed solutions.
- Translate complex technical information into terms that are easily understood by nontechnical stakeholders.
- Address any technical questions or concerns that clients may have during the sales process.
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to target specific industries or sectors where our services are most needed.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching market trends, competitors, and potential clients.
- Set sales targets and work towards achieving them by managing the sales pipeline and tracking progress.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure that client requirements are fully understood and met.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop technical content for promotional materials, such as brochures, case studies, and website content.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client needs and market trends.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts, ensuring that terms are favorable for both the client and Careers International.
- Ensure that all technical and commercial aspects of the agreement are clearly defined and documented.
- Work with legal teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Post-Sales Support:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that arise.
- Coordinate with service delivery teams to ensure that projects are executed according to the agreed terms and conditions.
- Seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services based on the evolving needs of the client.
- Market Analysis and Feedback:
- Continuously monitor the market to identify trends, emerging needs, and potential new services that Careers International could offer.
- Gather feedback from clients and the market to refine service offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market positioning and strategic opportunities.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, proposals, contracts, and feedback.
- Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams within the company.
- Educational Background: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields), Facilities Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Experience in a sales role, preferably within the FM industry or a related technical field. Familiarity with technical sales and client relationship management is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of facilities management services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to close deals and manage client relationships effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and develop effective solutions.
- Customer Focus: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and a commitment to meeting their needs.
