About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our multinational business in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and North Africa regions. As Head of Multinational, Gulf Cooperation Council, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our multinational portfolio, while fostering alignment and integration across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Head of Multinational, EMEA in leading the direction of AIG EMEA's multinational business.
  2. Collaborate with AIG GCC & North Africa leadership and stakeholders to develop and execute the multinational business model.
  3. Drive the multinational vision and value proposition across the GCC & North Africa regions.
  4. Assist in the execution of the profitable growth of the multinational portfolio, including pipeline management and development of specific multinational sales, marketing, and communications strategies.
  5. Act as Multinational deal architect, advising on programme design and providing strong Multinational subject matter expertise.
  6. Oversee the integration and optimization of AIG's Network (Owned & Partnered).
  7. Partner with stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and execute agreed AIG Network Optimization plans.
  8. Lead change in behavior and practice across GCC & North Africa MN to manage MN PO & IO business/service on an end-to-end basis.
  9. Deliver on all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on expense management, customer service, and profitability.
  10. Lead the adoption and execution of the multinational business model and promotion of the segmented multinational Value Proposition(s).
  11. Work with claims to ensure multinational claims are handled in a proactive manner.
  12. Create a risk-aware culture of integrity and accountability.
  13. Oversee and lead management of the team of multinational staff in/across GCC & North Africa.
  14. Foster an environment where employees can grow and maximize their talent.
  15. Support the development, communication, and execution of global Multinational Strategies, initiatives, and plans.
  16. Represent AIG Multinational as a visible and recognized thought and industry leader.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in insurance, preferably in multinational roles. You should have a deep understanding of multinational business across multiple lines of business in multiple markets. Excellent influencing and communications skills, with the ability to work with senior-level managers and externally with key clients and broker partners. Proven successful management of complex, multi-stakeholder teams, with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement operational and process improvements.
