Job Title: Restaurant Server

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team at Sisco Jobs. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests, ensuring timely and efficient service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking into account their preferences and needs.
  • Order Taking: Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure timely service of orders, attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience, and provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items as appropriate.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating issues as necessary to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments and ensure the proper handling of cash and card transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, maintaining open communication and a positive team dynamic.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining stock levels, including cutlery, crockery, and condiments, ensuring that the dining area is well-stocked and prepared for guest arrivals.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply; previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation.
    • Teamwork: Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
    • Appearance: Good grooming and presentable appearance.
    • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and manage physical tasks such as carrying trays.
