Leadership Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Network Administration team in the creation, evaluation, and compilation of reports, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and protocols.
• Set performance objectives for employees and conduct evaluations, recommending suitable training initiatives for the Network Administration team.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to maintain optimal staffing levels, participate in recruitment processes, and facilitate onboarding for new Network Administration personnel.
• Mentor and guide Network Administration staff in their professional growth and career progression.
Operational Management:
• Assume a pivotal role in directing network-related projects, strategizing, developing, and managing network systems and procedures to enhance departmental operational quality and efficiency, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and ITIL frameworks.
• Analyze and document network business workflows and challenges, providing recommendations and developing solutions to improve efficiencies. Coordinate and implement network solutions derived from process evaluations and departmental initiatives.
• Assist in planning for and addressing service disruptions and other operational challenges (SLA's).
• Ensure that the network management section meets its productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Supervise staff in the development, analysis, and compilation of networking activity reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Support team members in resolving complex or policy-related operational issues.
• Provide management with regular updates on the networking environment and ongoing projects.
• Review and approve team members' time and expense reports in a timely and responsible manner.
• Evaluate the status reports of network management team members and address issues as necessary.
• Organize and lead network management meetings.
• Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Managers, and Vice Presidents regarding departmental operations and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist the Infrastructure Section Head in recruitment, performance assessments, and the continuous development of policies and procedures.
• Support the Infrastructure Section Head in formulating and adhering to the annual budget for networking equipment, services, training, and other requirements.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in network technology.
• Execute all other related responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor with reliability, integrity, and discretion.

• Uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in alignment with Dubai Customs' information security policies and procedures to safeguard information from unauthorized disclosure or misuse.
