Job Summary

  • Inventory Management: Ensure that all kitchen equipment and supplies are properly inventoried and maintained, and that all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain all kitchen equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Departmental Policies: Ensure that all departmental policies and procedures are followed, and that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure that our kitchen operations are always running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Education: University or college degree in a related discipline, such as hospitality or food service management.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly responsible and reliable, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
