Job Summary

Anantara is seeking a highly skilled Room Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room Assignments
    • Assign rooms to guests based on their preferences and requests.
    • Pre-register designated guests to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Check-in and Check-out Procedures
    • Coordinate and organize the check-in and pre-registration process for arriving groups.
    • Review and track requests for room changes and accommodate them when possible.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Communicate room status and changes to relevant team members.
    • Coordinate with the Engineering team to assign rooms for planned preventive maintenance.
    • Follow up on queue rooms and ensure that the procedure for placing rooms on queue is adhered to by the team.
  • Guest Services
    • Set up and process guest check-ins and check-outs.
    • Perform duplicate reservation checks and block rooms.
    • Run daily reports to ensure accurate room assignments and guest information.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • File guest paperwork and documentation.
    • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and completely.
  • Qualifications and Requirements
    • College diploma in hotel management or a related field.
    • Luxury hotel experience is a must.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with Front Office Systems.
    • Good English skills, both written and spoken.

Additional Requirements

  • Relocation to a remote area may be required.
