Clinical Nurse Specialist

Position Title: Registered Nurse
Employment Type: Temporary (4 Months)
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Overview: As a Registered Nurse within our esteemed healthcare facility, you will be integral in providing thorough nursing care to patients across diverse medical fields. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare experts to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies in alignment with established standards and protocols.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients at all times.
- Work alongside physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to formulate and execute personalized care plans tailored to patients' unique needs, conditions, and preferences.
- Keep precise and current patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices, empowering them to engage actively in their care and make informed decisions.
- Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines to prevent infection spread and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and assess patients' responses to treatments and interventions, recognizing and promptly addressing any changes in their condition or unexpected complications.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, performance enhancement activities, and interdisciplinary rounds to improve patient outcomes, optimize healthcare delivery processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain professional competence and stay informed on best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and advancements in nursing through ongoing education, training, and professional development.
- Exhibit professionalism, integrity, empathy, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders, promoting a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a DOH/DHA license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Hospital/Homecare/Medical Center as a Nurse or a recent graduate.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability for immediate commencement.
- Must hold a valid Residence Visa.
