Clinical Resource Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Resource Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - SSMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, evaluating clinical programs, and providing expert clinical consultations.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Design and implement educational programs that meet the needs of nursing staff and align with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Clinical Evaluation: Conduct systematic evaluations of clinical programs to ensure they are effective and responsive to staff needs.
- Performance Criteria: Establish measurable performance criteria to assess nurses' levels of competence and ensure they are meeting organizational standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with nursing staff and other disciplines to develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs.
- Adult Education and Teaching: Demonstrate expertise in adult education, group dynamics, curriculum development, communication, and teaching strategies.
- Competency Maintenance: Assist nursing staff in integrating new knowledge and skills into their practice and ensure competency is maintained.
- Specialty-Specific Orientation: Provide specialty-specific orientation to relevant staff and participate in the organization's orientation programs as required.
- Clinical Consultations: Provide bedside clinical consultations in areas of expertise and specialization.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Lead the implementation of evidence-based practice and actively participate in research to promote clinical knowledge and a research-based clinical practice environment.
- Health Promotion: Engage in health promotion activities within the organization and community.
- Information Technology: Manage information technology to access, transmit, and produce information as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in nursing education and clinical practice, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
