Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with our clients' business objectives. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the events industry, combined with expertise in strategic planning, market research, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop comprehensive strategies to achieve their goals.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Manage and motivate cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies that align with client objectives and respond to market trends.
  • Business Development: Assist the Head of Department in business development activities, contributing to the acquisition of new clients, identifying opportunities, and meeting business targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with clients to fully understand their strategic goals, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with their vision and objectives.
  • Event Marketing Strategies: Create and oversee event marketing strategies aimed at maximizing audience engagement, boosting attendance, and enhancing brand impact.
  • Competitive Analysis and Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic planning, identify growth opportunities, and refine marketing strategies.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Track and analyze event performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize outcomes and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in strategic roles within creative agencies, with substantial exposure to the events industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in developing innovative strategies. Expertise in strategic planning, market research, and managing client relationships. Excellent leadership qualities, with strong communication and presentation skills.
