Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system administration tools.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure are available.
  • Monitor and test application performance to detect any potential weaknesses, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those solutions.
  • Maintain security, backup, and backup strategies.
  • Write and maintain custom software to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time in any tasks.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Provide second and third-level support.
  • Provide monthly reports to management.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years minimum experience.
  • Proven practical experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.
  • Strong experience in managing and tuning the performance of application suites (e.g. CRM, Microsoft AX, Call Center, etc.).
  • Strong experience in firewalls, preferably in Sonic Wall.
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware and VirtualBox).
  • Experience in monitoring systems.
  • Strong knowledge in networking (OS network layers, TCP/IP).
