- Plan repair procedures using manuals, charts, and personal expertise.
- Test the functionality of components and systems.
- Conduct basic automotive maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, tire rotations, and oil changes.
- Repair and replace components like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
- Carry out general mechanical work and upkeep on vehicles.
- Willingness to pursue additional certifications as needed.
- Demonstrate a readiness to learn through hands-on experience.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times.
- Experience in automotive repair or relevant education in auto mechanics is essential.
- ASE certifications are required.
- An active driver's license is mandatory.
- Completion of an associate's degree in auto repair and maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
- Capable of accurately reading, interpreting, and transcribing data.
- Able to perform regular maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience as a lube technician or willingness to undergo on-the-job training is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive air conditioning systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools is advantageous.
- Experience with diesel engines or heavy equipment is a plus, along with a willingness to learn.
- Good hand-eye coordination is necessary.

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Salary: $40.00 per hour
