Network Development Director

RP International (RPI) is seeking a seasoned Network Development Director to spearhead the development of our fiber networks in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive network development strategy, aligning with our corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the deployment of fiber networks, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and business partners, securing optimal terms.
  • Collaborate with implementation managers to develop tactical plans for specific geographical areas.
  • Report directly to the COO, with Implementation Manager and Vendors Manager as direct reports.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field, with MBA as an added advantage.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMI).
  • Relevant telecoms engineering qualifications, including CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent international certifications.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience, with 5 years in a senior management position within the telecommunications industry.
  • Fluent English speaker, with Arabic language skills advantageous but not essential.
