Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housing Attendant to join our team at Anantara Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our Accommodation Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our housing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room Preparation: Prepare all rooms or beds for new arrival staff, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Report all maintenance and repair requests to the Housing Supervisor/Team Leader, ensuring prompt attention to any issues.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct monthly inventory of furniture, fixtures, appliances, linens, cleaning materials, and other essential items, as applicable.
  • Key Control: Ensure proper key controls are in place, maintaining the security and integrity of our housing facilities.
  • Fire and Safety: Report any fire or safety hazards to the Housing Supervisor/Team Leader, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Waste Management: Follow and recommend measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities used in the Accommodation.
  • Support to P&C: Provide overall assistance to the Procurement and Contracts department as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Keep all equipment clean, tidy, and well-maintained as per the Accommodation Operations Manual, including proper and secure storage.
  • Special Tasks: Carry out special tasks as assigned by the Housing Supervisor/Team Leader.
  • Damage and Loss Reporting: Report any damaged or missing items to the General Cleaner Supervisor for action and follow-up.
  • Key Management: Keep all keys signed out in a secure manner and return them at the end of the shift to the ambassador in charge.
  • Team Member Satisfaction: Ensure that all team members enjoy their stay within the accommodation compound, offering a clean and hygienic service at all times.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Housing Supervisor/Team Leader.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Housing or Housekeeping.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and guests.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Excel would be an added advantage.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
