Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Operations Services Manager within our Airport Operations Team. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Ramp Operations and is pivotal in steering business strategy and operational oversight across essential Emirates Airport Services sectors, including Ground Dispatch, Hub Control Centre, and Centralised Load Control. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient provision of these vital services, contributing significantly to the safe, secure, and timely performance of flights while maximizing payload capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with airport authorities to define and enhance the infrastructure roadmap, ensuring optimal operational availability while supporting the continuous development of airport facilities. Lead the Airport Collaborative Decision Making initiative from an operational standpoint, working alongside external partners.
- Oversee the regular generation of weight and balance documentation, adhering to established guidelines to maintain aircraft safety and optimize commercial load. Ensure the timely preparation and distribution of weight and balance manuals for new aircraft types.
- Manage the implementation of an automated loading reconciliation system across the network, ensuring rigorous control of processes and staff training to achieve high operational standards during station launches.
- Monitor and manage the Service Level Agreement with service partners, assessing performance against key operational metrics and recommending improvements where necessary.
- Lead the Hub Control Centre to maximize connectivity and ensure timely performance, enhancing communication and decision-making processes during disruptions.
- Ensure effective management of Ground Dispatch operations to consistently achieve flight safety and on-time departures while optimizing payload uplift.
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to benchmark operational practices and identify innovative processes and technologies that enhance efficiency.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and security across all operational areas, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Foster effective communication with all relevant departments to address operational needs during disruptions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A completed Degree or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Airport or Ground Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of airport handling procedures, operational services, and movement control.
- Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures at major airports and international standards.
- Proficient in terminal radar systems and airport communication technologies.
- Understanding of flight planning procedures and aviation terminology.
