The Accommodation Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that staff housing is secure and meets the standards set forth by the Human Resources Policy. This position is responsible for the following:
- Security and Allocation: Guarantee that staff accommodations are safe and that allocations are made according to entitlements.
- Maintenance Oversight: Ensure that all assets within the staff accommodation, including buildings, furniture, and operational equipment, are properly maintained.
- Cleanliness Standards: Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the accommodation facilities at all times.
- Supervisory Duties: Exercise authority regarding security measures, room assignments, and cleanliness protocols.
- External Management: Provide maximum supervision of external cleaning staff, security personnel, and contractors operating on the premises.
- Reporting: Ensure timely submission of the Accommodation Occupancy Report and any other reports as required by the Director of Talent & Culture.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficient reading, writing, and oral communication skills in English.
- Professional appearance and grooming at all times.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with effective problem-solving abilities.
