Role Overview

The Accommodation Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that staff housing is secure and meets the standards set forth by the Human Resources Policy. This position is responsible for the following:

  • Security and Allocation: Guarantee that staff accommodations are safe and that allocations are made according to entitlements.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Ensure that all assets within the staff accommodation, including buildings, furniture, and operational equipment, are properly maintained.
  • Cleanliness Standards: Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the accommodation facilities at all times.
  • Supervisory Duties: Exercise authority regarding security measures, room assignments, and cleanliness protocols.
  • External Management: Provide maximum supervision of external cleaning staff, security personnel, and contractors operating on the premises.
  • Reporting: Ensure timely submission of the Accommodation Occupancy Report and any other reports as required by the Director of Talent & Culture.
