Position Overview

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Permanent Facility Supervisor to become part of our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to manage the operations and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring they align with the needs of the organization and its workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in safety, compliance, and performance oversight, with the capability to implement effective strategies and systems to enhance our facilities' operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies.
  • Formulate and execute effective facility management strategies, procedures, and performance benchmarks to meet all objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to assess their facility requirements and ensure they are fulfilled.
  • Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of facilities to guarantee they are in optimal condition and adhere to safety standards.
  • Manage and supervise all facility-related projects, including renovations, repairs, and installations.
  • Develop and oversee budgets for facility operations and maintenance, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documentation is maintained and monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergencies or disruptions in operations and initiate necessary measures to resolve these issues.
  • Supervise the performance of all vendors and contractors involved in facility operations, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Implement effective asset management and life-cycle planning for all facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a related field, with a focus on safety, compliance, and performance oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating facility operations and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of facility management practices and procedures, including safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing facility management software and systems.
  • Certification in Facility Management, Safety Management, or a related field is advantageous.
