About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Claims Officer to join our team at Allianz Partners. As a Medical Claims Officer, you will be responsible for providing quality service to clients, assessing and processing claims, and making decisions on high-cost and complicated cases.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage routine daily claims administration work
  • Evaluate claims for eligibility
  • Make decisions on high-cost and complicated cases based on standard operating procedures
  • Handle International Preauthorization cases as required
  • Attend calls and emails from insurance companies, clients, and providers
  • Coordinate with international providers for direct billing
  • Make suggestions to improve service
  • Increase efficiency, minimize errors, and administration time

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Medicine (MBBS) only
  • Medical Practical Experience (reputable insurance provider, broker, or a TPA experience a plus)
  • Physically fit to carry out duties
  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations
  • Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills
