Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to all guests, ensuring that they feel welcome and valued.
  • Table Management: Welcome guests to the assigned outlet, receive and conduct guests to tables, and ensure that they are attended to and available for them at all times as a point of contact.
  • Reservations and Communication: Take outlet reservations, handle the reservation book, and answer the telephone in an impeccable manner, ensuring that all guests are informed and updated about their reservations.
  • Outlet Preparation: Set up the outlet prior to business hours along with the service team, ensuring that the outlet is clean, tidy, and ready for guests.
  • Coordination and Organization: Coordinate with the service team in making necessary arrangements according to the floor plan for reservations or blocking off reserved tables, ensuring that all guests are seated and served efficiently.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Observe the cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet and the entrance area, ensuring that the outlet is always clean and tidy.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Assure the well-being of all guests by maintaining a close, friendly, yet discrete contact, ensuring that all guests are satisfied with their experience.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be aware of all menus and ongoing promotions in the outlet by heart, in order to recommend to guests who request it.
  • Database Management: Contribute in setting up the outlet's database, ensuring that all guest information is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Education and Qualifications: You should ideally have a diploma/degree in hospitality with previous experience in the Food & Beverage Department within a hotel.
  • Language Skills: You must have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written. Multiple language ability is considered an additional advantage.
