Strategic Account Manager

At Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of account plans and sales strategies to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement account plans to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic business plans that expand partnerships and drive business growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand key business drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities for ABB.
- Provide insights and recommendations to sales teams on customer current and long-term plans, and develop sales strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Define and propose sales targets for accounts, and ensure their achievement through structured follow-up and coordination across divisions and countries.
- Sell products, solutions, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets.
- Ensure a coordinated sales approach that adds value for both the customer and ABB.
- Monitor competitors' activities and formulate appropriate response strategies.
- Provide input on market price developments and drive the application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 10 years of experience in account management within the energy industry.
- Experience in portfolio management, business strategy, and market intelligence.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and customer experience success.
- Knowledge of regulation and legal compliance, pricing excellence, and budget and performance targets.
- Expertise in account management, business development, and sales enablement.
- Familiarity with general sales practices, solution/application sales engineering, and channel sales.
- Proficiency in contract and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to ABB's core values, safety, and integrity standards.
- Arabic speaking language essential for stakeholders' management.
