We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Duserve. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our facilities and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of our facilities and assets.
  • Manage and maintain a register of assets and equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Develop and implement a formal inventory management system to ensure accurate tracking and control of maintenance items and consumables.
  • Manage and maintain a secure storage and indexing system for site drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and equipment layouts.
  • Develop and implement a cleaning schedule in accordance with contract requirements and asset and equipment register.
  • Manage and maintain a register of specialized service provider contracts, including contract negotiation, performance auditing, and KPI measurement.
  • Evaluate contracts to determine their effectiveness and efficiency in service, including all soft services and ad hoc requirements.
  • Manage and maintain a system for periodic inspection of sites, to inform clients of any general repairs or additional work required.
  • Communicate with clients to deal with requests for additions and changes to contract specifications.
  • Manage small or medium-sized projects, identifying project risks and issues, and developing reserve plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, and asset management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
