Position Overview

The Supplies Category Manager for the Middle East & East Africa will become an integral part of the Southern Europe Middle East and Africa (SEMA) region's Supplies Market Category Team. This team is tasked with overseeing the 4Ps and managing the profit and loss across a diverse and expansive geography comprising 79 countries.

We are seeking a dynamic Supplies Category Manager to take charge of the Middle East & East Africa cluster. This role encompasses product line management and plays a crucial part in shaping business strategies and development initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with various functions to ensure smooth execution and will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • 4Ps Management: Oversee the product life cycle within the Middle East, including New Product Introductions and End of Life strategies. Formulate the product route to market strategy and align marketing communication needs.
  • Profit and Loss Management: Engage in forecasting and planning (quarterly, annual, and long-term) to deliver financial and operational metrics. Manage and approve contracts at the partner level.
  • Lead Key Initiatives: Drive market share growth within the cluster.
  • Frontline Supplies Champion: Communicate the Supplies value proposition both internally to connecting functions and externally to channel partners and the extended sales force.
  • Lead Transformation Projects: Spearhead transformation initiatives within the Middle East.
Education and Experience Required
  • A graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically, 4-7 years of experience in category management, profit and loss management, business analytics, or a related area, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of consumer and/or commercial partner management.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
Skills
  • Strong business planning and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in business development.
  • Ability to manage complex data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with senior management.
