Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team at Hilton Worldwide, Inc. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting the Accounts function within the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and match invoices and purchase orders using the company purchasing system, Birchstreet
  • Manage the cheque processing system to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Monitor and control Accounts processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
  • Train Team Members on the use of the Birchstreet system and Accounts procedures
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with all hotel areas
  • Attend finance meetings as required to stay informed and contribute to decision-making
  • Adhere to fire, health, and safety regulations and follow established procedures
Requirements
  • Previous experience in high-volume Accounts functions, preferably in a hospitality or related industry
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and computer literacy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Birchstreet purchasing system and/or PeopleSoft
  • Relevant degree in Accounting or a related business discipline from an academic institution
